Beginner/Intermediate Mat Pilates |
Mat Pilates is a series of gentle exercises designed to improve flexibility and strength through a variety of stretching and balancing movements. The core, also called the "Powerhouse", is the body's center of gravity; it is composed of the muscles of the lower abdomen, lower back, buttocks and pelvic floor. Pilates strengthens and shapes the body from the inside out. |
| Intermediate/Advanced Mat Pilates |
Benefits of Pilates include better posture, injoy prevention and increased strength and flexibility. This class is targeted to both men and women of all ages, beginner through advanced levels. |
| Pilates with Ultra-Fit Circle |
Using a flexible resistance ring, this workout will help to increase strength, flexibility and muscle tone. It incorporates upper and lower body exercises that will help you to become lean and toned. Come experience a workout that leaves you feeling recharged and ready to take on any challenge. |
| Power Yoga |
Ashtanga (Power) Yoga is a method of developing strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. Focus on the breath is emphasized as it links the postures together in a flow. This is an active form of yoga. |
| Reformer Pilates |
This class will use the STOTT reformer to build on the basic pilates principles, focusing on core strength and stability, coordination, flexibility and endurance.
This is a Pink Ribbon Certified Program, A program for women recovering from breast cancer surgery. |
| Yoga for Moms |
Yoga is an excellent way to exercise when you are pregnant and right after pregnancy. Breathing and moving through postures helps prepare the body for labor and delivery as well as conditioning the body after the baby has arrived. Relaxation is an important tool to have during these exciting changes. Come enjoy an hour devoted to yourself working on the mind/body connection. |

Yoga Mix incorporates Iyengar and Hatha yoga methods to provide a practice that promotes breathing integrity, asana (pose) technique and peaceful relaxation. You will gain muscle strength, muscle stamina, flexibility and balance while becoming more centered in mind and spirit. Instructions will emphasize correct alignment in the pose and awareness of the body. |
| Yoga for all Levels |
A blend of the precision work of Iyengar Yoga and the flowing movement of Ashtanga, this all level yoga class (no flexibility or previous experience required) is designed to thoroughly explore the body while being mindful to modify for individual needs. Postures (asanas) will include standing, sitting, forward bending, back bending, inversions and meditation (shavasasana). The body takes many forms, but the breath remains the same. Regular practice relieves stress, improves mood, and deepens appreciation for all aspects of life by bringing health to the body and peace to the mind. |
| Yogalates |
Yogalates is a blend of yoga poses with Pilates exercises emphasizing the breath throughout a session. It is excellent for developing general tone and fitness in the body while also creating a sense of inner calm, relaxation and overall well-being. All fitness levels are welcome. |
